Tamara (Tam Orlando) Templeman

Director of Strategy | Expert in Interior Environments | Design-Build Project Manager

I am a lifelong strategist, committed to creating healthier, safer, more nourishing human-centered environments by bridging the gap between cutting edge insights and design implementation.

My keen observational skills, aptitude for qualitative research, ability to discern and ask the right questions, and gift for storytelling and communication have empowered me to create and evolve design strategy processes for successful outcomes in a wide variety of contexts.

From interior spaces to product development, from virtual services to experiential workshops, I apply my strategic problem-solving expertise together with highly trained design thinking to create a tailored, systematic approach to whatever challenge is at hand.

Areas of particular interest and deep study include: the interplay between human physiology and the sensory environment (as it relates to wellness and productivity), behavioral sciences and neuroplasticity (as it relates to change management), trauma awareness and neurodivergence (as it relates to inclusivity and safety), sustainable and regenerative design strategies (as it relates to environmentally and ethically responsible design solutions).
